Reputation Reporting
Understanding the reputation of an IPv4 address block is important for buyers, sellers, lessees, and lessors. Any party involved in the transfer and use of addresses should evaluate the reputation of the IPv4 addresses involved before offering them to others or using the IP addresses within their organization.
New Feature – FREE
IPv4.Global has launched a new feature on our marketplace to make reputation reports available to all our registered users. Our reporting engine queries ten independent blocklist services to gather this information and provides reputation reports on each block. Reports also include Registry, Routing and Geolocation data.
Reports include information from the following sources:
Reputation Information
- Spamhaus SBL
- Spamhaus CBL
- Spamhaus DROP
- Spamhaus EDROP
- Spamhaus ISP Maintained lists
- UCEProtect
- Feodo Tracker
- Blocklist.de
- RBL.interserver.net
- SpamCop
Routing & Geolocation Information
- Maxmind
- PrefixCtl uses the IP2Location LITE database for IP geolocation
- RIPEStat
Registration Information
- The Whois service of the Regional Internet Registries (RIRs)
- ARIN’s WhoWas service (if applicable)
Reputation reports are generated for all blocks offered on the marketplace and approved users can request one be run live as they browse our listings.
For Buyers
To request up-to-the-minute reports, buyers may request a report on any specific block offered in real time.
For Sellers
Any block listed by a seller immediately causes a reputation report to be generated. The seller can view or download that report and/or generate a new one as needed.
For Lessors
Once a listing is approved, a reputation report is automatically generated on that listing. The lessor is emailed a link to that report and can view (and download) it on the leasing hub when logged in.
For Lessees
Approved lessees may request reputation reports from the IPv4.Global support team to generate appropriate reports on available inventory. Lessees with currently active leases can view and download reports that run twice per week and may also run a real time report on demand through the leasing platform.
